White River has two full services motels. Sweetspot America opened in 2021 with eight rooms featuring a gift shop, conference room, fitness center, and continental breakfast. The Thoroughbred Lodge has a unique history of serving the White River community for more than fifty years. It has twelve rooms, each with microwave and fridge.

White River also has camping available at the City Park on the southeast side of town along Rodeo Road. Twelve shaded and quiet camping spaces are available, no electricity or hook-ups. The City Park camping is free. Happy Campers RV Parking is also available in town along highway 83 for a charge. It does have water, sewer, and electric. 605-488-0073 or 605-259-3165.
